St. Julie Billiart supports parish children who attend St. Peter in Chains School. In January, 2008 the parishes of St. Peter in Chains and St. Julie Billiart signed an agreement to collaborate in implementing the principles and goals of the Butler County Catholic Education Collaborative Phase II - Feasibility Analysis and Operating Plan (“The Operating Plan”).
As a first step in the process, a school for K-8 students from both St. Peter in Chains and St. Julie Billiart Parishes was established at St. Peter’s campus for the 2008-2009 academic year. At this time the school is administered by St. Peter in Chains Parish, with each parish providing financial support and subsidy for the school. This collaboration supports a framework in which other parishes in Butler County can join the collaborative regional approach as envisioned in The Operating Plan.
