	“Taste of St. Julie” Parish Festival Click HERE for the July 27 Bulletin insert August 1 & 2, 2008-5:30-11:00pm regarding the Festival (PDF document) August is quickly approaching and its time again for the annual St. Julie Billiart Parish Festival. This year the festival will have a “Taste of St. Julie” theme with German, Italian, and Mexican cuisine that reflects the parish’s rich cultural history, as well as traditional favorites such as burgers, grilled corn on the cob, and funnel cakes. There will be activities for all ages including adult games of chance, a Bid N Buy Auction, kids games, face painting, balloon artists, and live entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. All proceeds raised at the festival will stay within the local community to support the St. Julie Billiart Parish, area ministries, and catholic education. 2008 Entertainment Schedule: - Friday, 5:30 to 7:30 pm: The Amazing Portable Circus featuring Interactive Children’s Music/Juggling - Friday, 7:30 to 10:30 pm: Live DJ - Saturday, 5:30 to 7:30 pm: Balloon Artist - Saturday, 7:30 to 10:30pm: Live Band The Soulbreakers 2008 St. Julie Festival Sponsors Thank you to our generous sponsors. This year the festival will be held on August 1st and 2nd from 5:30-11:00pm and will have “A Taste of St. Julie” theme with German, Italian, and Mexican cuisine that reflects the parish’s rich cultural history. We’d like to thank you for your past support of the festival and we are humbly asking for your support of our festival again this year. See the many ways YOU can get involved! Contact the parish office at 863-1040 or by email- festival@stjulie.net for more information about getting involved. 1. Be a Patron Family Sponsor ($20) or Booth Sponsor ($75). 2. Donate Bid N Buy Auction Items such as tickets to sporting events, golf packages, vacation rental property, theme baskets, and gift certificates. 3. Volunteer to work in one of the many festival game or food booths. 4. Ask the company that you work for to consider being a booth or corporate sponsor. 5. Purchase or help sell 16 raffle tickets per parish family. 6. Pray for good weather! 7. Invite friends, family and neighbors to attend the St. Julie Festival. 8. Volunteer to help set up or clean up at the festival. 9. Plan to eat dinner with your family at least one night of the festival weekend at the Taste of St. Julie's. 10.
