Children’s Liturgy of the Word, “CLOW provide moments when you can  see a child’s face light up because they understand a scripture passage for the first time.  Knowing that you help children to understand God’s word is such a blessing! “  CLOW Volunteer.

We’re looking for volunteers to be teachers, helpers, or substitutes.  If you’re a creative person, or you like kids, or you just feel called to help out in some way, then we hope you will prayerfully consider this ministry.  Two volunteers lead the children to the Shine Room to hear the Good News during 9:15 am or the 11:45 am Sunday Masses.

The commitment is fairly small—we ask that you volunteer once per month September through April.  If you would like to be a teacher, but don’t know where to begin, that’s ok—we have all kinds of materials and resources to help you.  If you’d like to be a helper or a substitute, that’s even easier.  Even if you’ve never done anything like this before, if you feel God calling you, please contact us and we can tell you more about it.  Teens and adults are needed.

Adults who volunteer with children in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati must attend a Child Protection Seminar- VIRTUS – and pass a background check.
