Hi everyone,

Junior high and high school students, this week’s Caring for Creation activity is for you! As Catholics we know we have an obligation to care for God’s creation, because that’s what our faith teaches us. Young people may ask, “I’m only a kid. I can’t do anything about climate change, right?” Our pastoral region’s Outreach Committee suggests checking out the Catholic Climate Covenant’s 7-minute video with stories about young people who have made creative contributions. You can be inspired at https://catholicclimatecovenant.org/resource/im-only-kid-i-cant-do-anything-about-climate-change-right.

Thank you to all those who have turned in their RICE BOWL Catholic Relief Services donations! Please mark all donations for “CRS RICE BOWL” and place them in the Collection Basket or mail/bring to the Parish Office. These donations are used internationally and locally to help those in need!

Pastoral Region Religious Education Program (PREP) forms for 2021-2022 are in the main church entrance and online at www.stjulie.net . Please register now for next year and let our team of faith-filled catechists help you pass on the faith! This is for Children in grades K – 12.

PREP is always looking for a few good adults and teen aides for next year! IF you love God and enjoy helping children give Mary Pat Austing or Pilar Hernandez a call at 863-1040 ! Let us discuss the possibilities!

Please be careful as you drive around the St. Julie Campus on Sunday Morning. Our Confirmandi will be mulching the parish gardens!

News from the archdiocese:

ALL PARISH VOLUNTEERS: NEW CHILD PROTECTION PLATFORM – In July 2021 the archdiocese will be moving to SafeParish as the new platform for Child Protection training and compliance. All training and background information in your current VIRTUS account will be transferred to SafeParish. No new live training through SafeParish will be required if you have completed live child protection training through VIRTUS.

Have a good week.
